Midnight Rush

Me and my barkada did another activity today. We went jogging. This was the day after my final exam when I deprived myself of sleep for more than 1 day.

The run was so refreshing. I ran at a slow pace worried that I might get nauseous and dizzy since it's only been a yesterday when I got through my toughest exam day ever. It was kinda easy so I picked up my pace and felt the cold air comforting my face. I forgot how this felt like. I also noticed how easy this is. Must be the emperor's food I'm eating. I cant forget how good it feels to have that huge amount of stamina to fuel my run. As if it was inexhaustible. I ran until my feet felt painful, I was starting to have blisters. Even though I didn't want to stop, i had to. Its been 2 weeks since I started eating the emperor's mushroom and everyday I can feel myself getting stronger. I have to start kicking soon. I cant wait to come back to my beloved sport. I got home almost midnight. I still had enough energy to spare. My legs started to feel exhausted though so I laid down and slept. No activities the next day. My legs are so painful i can't even walk. All i did was sleep and eat.

Two months ago, I started to research ways and ideas for an Anniversary gift. Alo and I have decided to have a month of celebration for our first year of dating. I did gather a few ideas on the net. Some from my friends. But I want to share this one thing that have my heart filled with so much joy.

I plan to buy him a book at an online store. I emailed them to ask if there will be a gift wrapping service. I think it will really be nice to not just send the book to his address but to put a note in there and have it wrapped. I was too impatient and did not wait for the response anymore and then purchase the book right after sending the inquiry.

After 2 days I checked my email and found that the Marketing Officer of the said store contacted me saying that they do not offer the gift wrapping service. However, she decided to wrap it for me. And she also did put a note that it was from me. Not just that but she included a prayer with the note!

I was so so happy. I couldn't believe that someone will take the effort and make that gift more special. Yet again He reminds me that He is the author of this love story. All honor and praise to Him who showers love around the world!

pet travel

I have a cat pet named Alfie, I adopted her from PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center last November 11 of 2006.

As I have shared it here in my blog, I want her to join our family in moving to Canada. There are complications though. We would have to formally ask the permission of the apartment owner first. So she might follow instead.. after 2-3 weeks perhaps.

I'll use the time to prepare the place for Alfie. Like find a place where to put the litter box, remove fragile objects from the shelves, etc etc..

I am just not sure right now on the procedures if she'll follow after 2-3 weeks. So, if any of you had an experience in bringing a pet out of the country, please impart your knowledge. Thank you in advance!

oo na, corny na ako

As usual, ang bonding time namin ni Angelo ay movie. Pero ayun ako at nakapili na naman ng chenes na panonoorin... May 4 cinemas, therefore 4 movies to choose from. Dalawa doon 4pm nagstart, ang isa ay 4:15pm at ang huli ay 4:25pm. eh 4:30 na nung nakabili kami ng ticket. Alo, being a gentleman, allowed me to choose. At ang pinili ko:

SUNDO ni Robin Padilla. hehehe.. kasi gusto ko naman pag na nonood ng movie, nasisimulan. Nakakainis kasi kapag di nasisimulan yung movie, parang di maka relate sa ibang scenes.

Ayun, may konting tili ako sa tabi, kasi magugulatin talaga ko. Buti sanay na sakin ang kasama ko. I am sure hindi sya masyadong nag enjoy sa palabas... Pero ok na din daw sya kasi magkasama naman kami. Ganun din naman ako.. hay, mushy na to. Tama na.. hahaha.

Next time sya na lang ang hahayaan ko pumili ng movie. Mas may taste kasi sya kaysa sakin.

(Galing din pala mag budget ng time ni Alo. Natupad naman kasi yung paguwi namin ng 8pm na usapan nila ni daddy.)

Breathe into me

I have been wondering what topic to blog for this special season. There's a lot of things going on my mind that I could not even choose which topic to write about!

The title may be odd for the season's greeting. Let me elaborate a bit. One time I asked Angelo what was his fave song is and he said Breathe Into Me by Red. I wanted to know how his type of music sounds and then was immediately displeased. My headphones was in full mode and then this loud song banged into my ears! I immediately closed the window after few words.

Couple of months later, I surfed GodTube.com and was surprised that Breathe Into Me by Red was included in the list of videos. My reaction was: Huh?!?!.

I searched my way beyond the noisy music. I found out that

I googled the lyrics. And then, listen to it again. Of course I reminded myself to put the control in minimal volume, this time. Then I was in awe! We humans, being sinful in nature, needed His breath.

Romans 3:23 indicates:for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In Matthew 1:21 it says She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,^[a] because he will save his people from their sins. The real significance of this day is about our need of a savior. The fact is, He already paid for the sins of mankind, even the undeserving one. All. Past, present and future.

Ephesians 2:8-9 indicates: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. We only have to accept Him and His gift of eternal life.

Thank you Alo for (intentionaly and unintentionaly) leading me closer to Him. Love you both!

Twilight Night

I was so so happy last night because:
- my siblings (glad, glowy, hazel, mark) I and Angelo watched Twilight! Thanks for the treat Alo! Mwah!
- we had dinner together!! Ate Apple, Miggy, Gabby, Mommy Yoly and Don with my other siblings and Angelo.

IT was a fun night, super! I'l post pics soon.
